Furniture restoration at 9 Lives in Rickmansworth

The restoration team show off the fruits of their labour.
A Bureau is the last renovation presented by students at 9 Lives.
Students at 9 Lives are continuing to produce quality restored furniture. When furniture is donated to the charity, students with the tutors help will decide which pieces are suitable to be restored.
The bureau was chosen, this then went upstairs to the workshop. Over a period of 3 weeks students dismantled the bureau, washed then stripped it back to the natural wood.
It was then treated to a wax and polish.
Students are now working on their next piece, which is a small barley twist occasional table.
Donations are constantly needed to keep the students busy!
