Lucky player scoops Air Ambulance jackpot

The Flight for Life Lottery Team at Herts Air Ambulance has announced that a lucky winner from Codicote, Hertfordshire, has won £6,872.50 in the Superdraw.

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, is the second person since the Superdraw was launched in May 2008 to match all their numbers and win the jackpot.

Every week the jackpot rolls over, when it reached the maximum amount of £25,000 in April 2009 the lucky winner of this life changing sum was Angela Price from Colchester, Essex.

Janice Flower, Lottery Manager of Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Trust said: “It was a surprise to find a winner so early on, the jackpot has only been rolling over since April when we found our first Superdraw winner.

”We were really pleased that one of our members from Hertfordshire won this time around. We hope this spurs on more people from Hertfordshire to join the Flight for Life Lottery and help generate vital funds. It is one of the best ways to support the Charity not only do you stand a chance of winning a life changing prize, but you can help save lives by keeping the air ambulance flying.”

Now that the Superdraw jackpot has been won, the roll over starts all over again. The draw takes place every Wednesday and there will be a brand new jackpot up for grabs.

Existing members of the Weekly Draw can play the Superdraw for an additional £1. They simply choose four lucky numbers between 1 and 34 which are entered into the draw each week and where there is no winner the jackpot will continue to rollover to a maximum of £25,000.
