The Lincolnsfields children’s centre Bushey receive £100 donation from Smiths detection Watford.

This week the Lincolnsfields children’s charity of Bushey received a charity donation of £100 from smiths Detection Watford and will go towards expanding the charities activities to educate young people through its 1940s living history project as well as its residential centre. The Lincolnsfields children’s was nominated by a member of staff who volunteers for the charity but supported by other staff members who have visited the 1940s history project with their families as well as its farm and in the past Smith detection has held its children’s Christmas parties at the Lincolnsfields. The donation will be put to good use by the charity and will enable its work to educate young people and keep alive the history of the site. The site was US. Eight air force fighter command headquarters and still has a lot of original buildings which now host the 1940s living history project , 1940s house, military museum, evacuee school and blitz street. The site also includes an education project based around its hands on small animal farm and 70 bed residential centre. Donations like this one from Smiths detection Watford make a big difference to the charity as it has limited resources and any donations of money or materials (to maintain the site) makes a big difference to lots of young people who we educate from who ever they come from and are gratefully received.
