Time is running out to join Starlight Walk

Watford FC players are suppoprting this year's Starlight Walk, but time is running out to sign up.
Places for this year’s Starlight Walk are selling out fast.
The event which takes place at midnight on Saturday, June 13, is the biggest Hospice fundraising event of the year and brought in more than £220,000 in 2008.
With only 54 days remaining until the 13 mile female-only walk, organisers are expecting the event to sell out in weeks. Around 800 walkers have signed up for the event using the new online registration service with a further 300 registering by filling in the leaflet.
Hospice Communication Manager, Jon Michael said ‘We are experiencing huge interest in the Starlight Walk and we are fast approaching a sell-out for the first time since the walk was introduced.
”We have been delighted that so many women have already booked their places and there is so much excitement amongst the walkers. I would encourage anyone hoping to carry out the walk on the night to apply quickly to avoid disappointment.
”The atmosphere on the night is absolutely amazing and it’s a great way to support such a good local cause.”
