March and April activities

At our meeting on 9 March Trevor Gunton gave a very interesting and fascinating talk on the Vikings. He explained the amazing spread of their influence across Britain and the North Atlantic as far as Newfoundland and south into Europe and the Mediterranean.
Our next local John Hurrell walk will be on 17 March at Stockers Lake, meeting at the Rickmansworth Aquadrome car park at 10 am. There will be another one on 14 April at Croxley Common Moor meeting at canal bridge at the end of the lane opposite Croxley Station.
Our next indoor meeting will be on 13 April at St Thomas Church Centre in Langley Road Watford at 8pm. Brian O’Riordan will talk about the birds and wildlife of Galapagos.
