The New Season Starts at a New Venue

After the summer break we shall start our new season of talks, walks, coach trips and other events at a new venue. Our first meeting will be on Wednesday 14 September at the Stanborough Centre, Stanborough Park Church, 609 St Albans Road, Watford WD25 9JL. As usual the doors will open at 7.30pm and the meeting will start at 8pm. Neil Renwick will give us an illustrated talk on the reintroduction of the critically endangered White-Winged Guan in Peru.

Our next local John Hurrell walk will be in Cassiobury Park on Wednesday 21 September, meeting at the Gade Avenue car park at 10am.

Don’t forget to help the birds in your garden by leaving seed heads on your plants and providing some water should the weather turn dry.
