Our October meeting will be on Wednesday 12 October at the Stanborough Centre, Stanborough Park Church, 609 St Albans Road Watford WD25 9JL. As usual the doors will open at 7.30pm and the meeting will start at 8pm. Richard Revels will present a new digital show on Wild South Wales, featuring the plants, insects and seashore wildlife of the Gower Peninsula. He will also talk about the birds of Skokholm, a small island off the Pembrokeshire coast.

Closer to home our next local John Hurrell walk will be at Tyttenhanger on Wednesday 19 October, meeting at The Willows car park, London Colney, at 10 am.
