Appeal for burglary witnesses
Police are appealing for witnesses to a burglary in Kings Langley, after a two week investigation failed to uncover any information.
Burglars targeted a home in Toms Lane on Thursday, March 13, where they stole a large amount of money and expensive jewellery between 6.30pm and 7.30pm.
There is no description of the burglars, but police believe there was more than one person involved and they may have parked a vehicle outside the house.
Anyone with information should telephone DC Matthew Waylett on 0845 3300222.

Might as well leave it another couple of weeks to ask for witnesses, might be able to remember better then, mmm.

Let me get this straight, the Police are looking for a person or persons who may have had a car parked outside a house in Toms Lane...
Hmmm....I think that they have a bit of a lack of evidence!!
The Police will never catch the people who did this. It will be just another unsolved crime on the books.
The people who did this crime most probably have done it before, if and when they get caught, they will only get a slap on the wrist and some nice community service...
When are the lawmakers of this country going to wake up and smell the coffee...We need tougher sentances on these types of criminal...they're scum.

We imprison 4 times more people relative to populations than the Dutch yet they have a much lower crime rate - doesn't seem to tie up with your comment somehow

Why do the police almost consistently these days wait for two weeks before seeking witnesses to crimes? Has some mandatory time period been stealthily imposed by our unelected leader?
What is the reason for this stupid time delay?
