Rickmansworth building struck by fire
Firefighters rushed to a disused building in Rickmansworth last night after it was engulfed by flames.
Fire broke out at the old Park Homes offices in the High Street at around 10.45pm.
Ten firefighters, supported by a special aerial ladder platform, spent nearly two hours battling the blaze, which caused heavy damage to the building.
A former car show-room and audio visual store, the building, next to the Cloisters, is currently owned by property developers.
Hertfordshire Fire Service said it was continuing its investigation into the blaze but described its origins as 'doubtful.'
