Six police cars attended a fast food restaurant to deal with a racial attack on Sunday night.

Police from Hertfordshire Constabulary were called to the McDonald’s in Shenley Road, Borehamwood on Sunday, June 11 at 9.35pm.

A 23-year-old man from south Harrow was arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated harassment, alarm or distress who has since been released under investigation.

A 19-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of obstructing police and was issued with a Fixed Penalty Notice.

At 10pm a dispersal notice was put in place to stop any more anti-social behaviour.

Last month two drug dealers were arrested after they had been found selling crack cocaine and heroin outside the fast food branch.

The Safer Neighbourhood Teams are working with partners to establish a long-term solution to anti-social behaviour here.
