Two men who attacked a victim with a stun gun before attacking his mother are wanted by the police.

The man in his 40s suffered the vicious attack after answering his front door in Ventnor Avenue, Stanmore at about 9am on Thursday, June 15.

The thugs shot him the stun gun before repeatedly kicking and punching him when he fell to the floor.

His mother was attacked when she came to the door to see what was going on. The men then left the property and were seen running towards Weston Drive.

The man was taken to a north London hospital and has since been discharged after being treated for minor injuries and his mother was treated for minor injuries by the London Ambulance Service.

The suspects are both described as black males of slim build in their late 20s.

A 23-year-old man was arrested near to the scene on 15 June but it was quickly established he was not involved and he was released with no further action.

Investigating officer from Harrow CID Detective Constable Barry Holland said: "This was a nasty pre-planned attack which has left the victim and his family terrified to be in their own home - a place where they should feel safe.

"I would urge anyone who recognises these two men, or has information on their whereabouts, to contact Harrow CID as soon as possible. The information you provide will be treated in strict confidence. Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously.

"We are determined to bring those responsible for this shocking unprovoked attack to justice."
