A college has been celebrating the latest of a string of successes as it recorded one hundred per cent student satisfaction in this year’s National Student Survey.

Stanmore College, in Elm Park, was one of just ten colleges to obtain full marks as it continues its rapid growth in 2017.

The annual survey, which was completed by more than 300,000 students in higher education, assesses how satisfied people are with their courses.

Attracta Rafter, director of marketing, communications and administration at Stanmore College, said: “It goes without saying that we are absolutely thrilled. 2017 has been a great year for us, with lots of well-deserved recognition.

“We are delighted for the staff and the students as they have contributed so much in getting the college to where it is.”

The institution, which offers courses in a variety of subjects, was recently bumped up two Ofsted grades and now acts as a GOOD provider.

It also received the highest possible judgement from the Quality Assurance Agency and is top of the Department for Education’s Performance Tables for Level 3 Provision in North West London.

Ms Rafter explained how the college as a whole has set about improving itself to act as the best possible springboard for its students.

“We’ve embraced the changes massively over the past year and a half; we’ve looked at our system and seen how we can push things for the better as much as possible,” she said.
