It's almost the weekend! Here's your final update before the break.
Weather
Today is a bit of a mixed bag, with rain showers, sunshine and even a bit of thunder and lightning expected.
The first rain and lightning shower is expected around lunchtime, followed by another at about 3pm, after which the sun will be shining until some further rain late in the evening. Highs of 18C.
Tube and train
On the London Underground there are severe delays on the Central line heading west, and minor delays heading east due to earlier faulty trains.
There is a good service on Thameslink, East Midlands, London Midland and Network Rail trains in south west Herts and north London, with the disruption at Waterloo no cleared.
Traffic
There are two lanes closed and very slow traffic on the A406 North Circular Road northbound at Jackman Mews, near Brent Park, due to an accident, as well as slow traffic further round the road at Southgate.
This is also affecting the M1 junciton at Brent Cross to get onto the North Circular.
Coppetts Lane in Potters Bar is experiencing some queues as well as some slow moving traffic on the North Orbital Road in the London Colney/St Albans area.
