A road is set to close for 12 hours while ITV camera crews carry out filming.

ITV Mandrake Ltd has Hertfordshire County Council’s permission to film in the street in Croxley Green cul-de-sac Bateman Road on January 26.

It will be shut to traffic from 10am to 10pm, according to traffic website One Network, although emergency access will be maintained at all times.

According to Companies House, ITV Mandrake Ltd is registered with the broadcaster’s White City, London, creative campus as its correspondence address.

However, ITV has not confirmed any details and it is not known what is being filmed in the road. ITV and Three Rivers District Council have been contacted for more information.

The residential road is behind Harvey Road Primary School, off Watford Road.

Last year ITV filmed scenes for Grantchester outside The Old Palace in Kings Langley. Its 2022 miniseries The Walk-In has scenes featuring several Watford roads as backdrops after filming in the town.
