Experience the spookier side of Barnet this weekend with a Halloween walk.

City of London guide Paul Baker leads a ghostly, ghoulish walk through High Barnet and Monken Hadley, on which you can see a pirate’s grave and hear stories of witchcraft and grisly executions. The walk is suitable for people of all ages - in fact anyone who likes to have the life scared out of them. Come in costume - there is a prize for the spookiest.

The walks take place on Friday, October 30; Saturday, October 31; and Sunday, November 1. Meet outside High Barnet tube station at 7.30pm and bring a torch if possible. The cost is £7, under 12s £3. Further details on 020 8440 6805 or visit www.barnetwalks.talktalk.net
