HIGH jumper Claire Huck leaped into the big time for Kendal Amateur Athletics Club when she collected a silver medal in the Under-17 high jump at the AAA National Championships at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham.
Claire jumped the same height, 1m66, as the eventual winner and only lost the gold medal on count-back.
Her twin sister Katie also competed in the same event and matched her personal-best with a leap of 1m55.
