Our Story: I never dreamt of what my wedding would be like as a child, even though it seemed every other little girl did. I was the tomboy, the one climbing trees and scuffing her knees. Even growing up I didn’t spare a thought for colour schemes or whether I should choose chiffon or silk for my wedding dress.

This all changed when I met John. During our five years' of courtship he discovered the hidden romantic in me, whisking me away for candlelit dinner dates with whatever he could scrimp together as a student teacher, or taking me on impromptu walks in the park. At the time money was not an issue, after all love is free.

After living with my parents in order to save up some money we finally managed to save enough to move out and plan a wedding. Our tight budget means we have to do most of it DIY style, and thanks to the kindness of people we know I have acquired a second hand wedding dress, a friend to do the photography and some decorations. But the budget is biting and a helping hand would mean the world to us! Thank you for this chance.
