Our Story: Mark and I are both getting married later than we thought (34 and 36). We never thought we would meet anyone, never mind get married.

We have both lost parents during the past four years - Mark his dad and me my mum - to cancer. 2008 was a pretty tough year. I have recently found out that I am to be made redundant in the next few months and it would just be so nice to have something a little special.

Marrying Mark is the best thing that could happen, even if I don’t get Bride of the Year. On September 12, I will be bride of the year.
