Our Story: When Stewart and I first met, I had just been offered a job in the Middle East, and left for Saudi Arabia. I was there for three years teaching at the British School in Riyadh. In March 2003, the compound I was living in was the target of a terrorist attack and my flat basically exploded on top of me as I slept.

Luckily, I escaped with minor injuries, whilst many of my friends and neighbours were seriously injured or killed.

However, it did make me value the more important things in life like love, friendship and family. Stewart and I re-established email contact and we finally got together in August 2006. He proposed in October 2008 at Cymtydu Cove in Cardiganshire, Wales.
