Spring is (almost definitely) sprung and it’s time to dig out those hiking boots and your sun hat as the Barnet YHA Group, also known as the North London Outdoor Group, launches its programme of spring and summer evening walks, which kicks off next week with a bluebell walk in Brookmans Park.
Ideal for people who want to get out and about, keep fit and meet new people in and around Barnet and out of London, the programme includes walks in Forty Hall in Enfield, Barnet Gate Wood, Arkley and Whitings Hill, Hampstead Heath and Aldenham, and, further afield, Bloomsbury, Westminster and Whitehall, and Essendon and Northaw Great Wood in Hertfordshire.
