IT'S just one week until Herts Pride 2015 kicks off in all its fabulous glory, and with a host of dazzling acts lined up this year's celebration is set to be the biggest and best yet.

Now in its third year, the one-day extravaganza will fill Cassiobury Park with music, dance, comedy, cabaret, stalls and - course - glittering costumes.

Launched earlier this year with help from the outrageous cast of Avenue Q at the Watford Colosseum, Herts Pride will welcome thousands of party-goers for the event, which is organised by a group of volunteers with support from organisations and businesses from across Watford.

On the day there will be plenty to keep you entertained as the line-up for the free Community Stage includes dynamite house, soul and gospel diva Angie Brown, pop-rock act Talk Dark Friend, guitar band The Ages, singers Sam Solace and Jason Prince, street dancer Kian Taylor-Jackson, Eva La Diva and many more.

And at the Cabaret Marquee enjoy performances from the outrageous Sandra London, brand-new drag act Jessica Colita - who made her début performance in Drag Idol 2015, Ryan Jagger, star of Gay Times magazine's Naked issue, Essex-born Richard von Wild Drag King, the hilarious Dave Lynn, Bambi Boo, Gurls on Tour and the Supreme Fabulettes, who will perform a selection of Glee-style mash-ups of classic hits and current singles.

And if you've got any energy left after dancing the day away, there's a variety of stalls to browse in the market shopping area and access to advice at the health and wellbeing stands.

Cassiobury Park, Watford, Saturday, August 22, 11am to 9.30pm. Details: hertspride.co.uk
