Abbots Langley Firework Display

Manor House Playing Fields, Gallows Hill Lane, Abbots Langley. The event is organised by the Lions Club of Watford and supported by Abbots Langley Parish Council. Grounds open 6.30pm and there will be music and rides for children. Firework display at 7.30pm. Food will be available from the burger stall and the Manor House bar will be open for the sale of drinks.

Cassiobury Park Firework Display
Cassiobury Park, Watford. The town lights up with not one but two firework displays - one for children and then a main, spectacular event for everyone. The event is from 6pm. Watford South Scouts are building the bonfire this year to keep you warm, and there are some fantastic entertainers to keep you dancing. Bands performing on the night include Wayward Daughter, Robert Finley, The Nameless Three, Alaska Campus and Late Daybreakers. Watford Lions Club will be collecting for charity on the night. Anyone coming by car is advised to park in the town centre car parks at Gade, The Avenue, Charter, Church, Kings or Queens and walk to the park. The Fullerians Rugby Club will be providing a car park on the night at their site in Coningesby Drive at a charge of £5 per car.

Berkhamsted Fireworks Party
Berkhamsted Sports and Social Club (Berkhamsted Cricket Club), Kitcheners Field, Castle Hill, Berkhamsted. All weather display, children's rides, BBQ, bar, sideshows and guest DJ. Gates open at 5pm, fireworks at 6.45pm. Sing along with all of the anthems including the six Nations, the Champions League, Queen's Jubilee and of course the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Sarratt Fireworks Display
King George V Playing Fields. Gates open at 6pm, display at 7.30pm. In the car park there will be stalls, all run by local clubs and organisations, offering various warming food, hot/cold beverages (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) and fun entertainments. Tickets to Sarratt residents prior to the event in the village shop only £1.50 per adult and £1p per child. Gate price £3 per adult and £2 per child.

Camelot Fireworks Extravaganza
Hemel Hempstead (Camelot) Rugby Club, Chaulden Lane, Hemel Hempstead. There will be an introduction to various types of fireworks commencing at 6pm followed by the full show at 6.30pm. FIREWORK TOP TEN SAFETY CODE FOR ADULTS

Young people should watch and enjoy fireworks at a safe distance and follow the safety rules for using sparklers. Only adults should deal with firework displays and the lighting of fireworks. They should also take care of the safe disposal of fireworks once they have been used.

1. Plan your firework display to make it safe and enjoyable.
2. Keep fireworks in a closed box and use them one at a time.
3. Read and follow the instructions on each firework using a torch if necessary.
4. Light the firework at arm's length with a taper and stand well back.
5. Keep naked flames, including cigarettes, away from fireworks.
6. Never return to a firework once it has been lit.
7. Don't put fireworks in pockets and never throw them.
8. Direct any rocket fireworks well away from spectators.
9. Never use paraffin or petrol on a bonfire.
10. Make sure that the fire is out and surroundings are made safe before leaving.
