By Melanie Dakin
Quirky and colourful, Harpenden artist Judith Simons’ abstracts including four canvases of the four seasons are currently on display at the Dame Flora Robson Gallery.
Judith is a member of the Welwyn Garden City Art Club and Harpenden Arts Society and her paintings have previously been highly commended by the St Albans Art Society.
She says: “My work depicts my love of colour and pattern. I paint in all mediums on canvas and on wood, which has a softness about it and the grain is interesting because it becomes part of the picture.”
The exhibition runs until November 30 at the Dame Flora Robson Gallery, Campus West, Welwyn.
