Capturing poise in dancing figures or animals on the move is a challenge that many photographers try hard to master. XRR Photographic Society’s exhibition of photographic prints in the Space2 gallery at Watford Museum shows how many of the group’s members have perfected the art of movement photography as well as excelling in other genres.
Subjects include birds and aircraft, atmospheric abstracts, studio portraits, seascapes, splashes of colour, and Tunisian Greater flamingos.
XRR makes sure its members strive to achieve even better results and learn new techniques through a series of workshops, as well as internal, regional and national competitions through its affiliation to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain and as a member of the Chilterns Association of Camera Clubs.
The exhibition is open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at Watford Museum, Lower High Street, Watford between 10am and 5pm and runs until December 31. Details: www.xrrphoto.org.uk
