Artists exhibit at Oxford Artweeks

BUCKS artist Wendy Fowler will show her garden pottery at an exhibition near Thame this weekend.

Wendy, who lives in High Wycombe, has produced a selection of hand-made stoneware water features, bird baths and new head planters. Her work is chiefly inspired by ancient fossil ammonites, fruits and flowers.

Joining Wendy at the exhibition are Mary Lowry, who has produced a number of handwoven scarves and accessories in silk, as well as works by textiles artist Barbara Shaw.

The exhibition forms part of Artweeks 2008, an Oxfordshire-wide festival, which runs at various venues throughout May.

The exhibition takes place from Saturday, May 3 to Sunday, May 11 at Sandy Lane Farm, Tiddington, near Thame. Details: 01844 274225 or 07974 659089. For more information about Artweeks 2008, visit www.artweeks.org
