It might not be the Last Night of the Proms, but the last recital of this season at Mill Hill Music Club is sure to be just as interesting.

The Barbican Trio will be doing a recital featuring Mozart, Fauré and Schubert. They have also recently celebrated their 25th anniversary after being formed by Hampstead Garden Suburb resident and renowned cellist Robert Max in 1987.

The Barbican Trio have performed all over the world with Robert at the forefront. They have also performed at major UK festivals playing music from Tchaikovksy to Alan Bush in their repertoire.

Robert is currently the principal cellist for the London Chamber Orchestra and conducts the Oxford Symphony Orchestra.

The Barbican Trio also consists of Sarah Lockett and James Kirby playing the violin and piano respectively.

Sarah joined the Trio in 2009 and has worked with everyone from Bastille to John Barrowman.

James Kirby plays the piano and performs as a soloist and chamber musician in the UK and Europe.

They are all committed to educating the younger generations and regularly give master classes.

Make sure you catch this spectacular ending to this season.
