Rock five-piece Chasing Cadence are in with a chance of appearing at this year’s Download Festival – all they need to secure their position is your votes.

The Watford group have already made it through to the final 15 bands in national competition Red Bull Studios Live at Download, a contest that gives bands a chance to take their career to the next level through professional studio experience, expert mentoring and a slot on stage at the UK’s biggest rock festival, Download.

Chasing Cadence were picked as one of the top 100 by the public from thousands of entries. Four judges (Radio 1’s Huw Stephens, Kerrang’s Katie P, Red Bull Records Angie Somerside, and buzzy rock stars Don Broco) then picked the best 15.

Those 15 acts are currently in London having professional photos taken, media training, putting a track down in the studio and making a video. But only eight will go through to the final and play Download in front of thousands.

On May 19, videos of all 15 remaining bands will go online and the public must choose the final six to play Download – the judges will pick two, so that eight will play the event.
