Watford’s own folk superstars release their second album, If I Was, next week, via Atlantic Records.
The album was recorded over the course of five trips to Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and produced by Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, the American indie folk band.
If I Was – which follows on from their critically acclaimed 2012 debut album Dead & Born & Grown – takes Emily, Jessica and Camilla Staveley-Taylor’s original blueprint of sublimely harmonised British indie folk and gives it an injection of muscle and a much heightened ambition.
- If I Was is available via thestaves.com and from iTunes
