<b>Weight of it All</b> <p> Cedar are a Watford based indie quartet influenced by bands such as Oasis, Doves and REM. Since 2002, they have played venues across Watford and London, recently being asked to host a launch night for their forthcoming EP at Islington's Lark In The Park. Catch Cedar at Taylor's on November 11 and at Baraka on November 22.

<b>Is It My Time</b> <p> Mama Chill aka Stacy Hart has faced more hardships than most in her life, but making music gives the Watford rapper a focus. Recording and producing her own tracks in her bedroom, Mama Chill is unable to gig but hopes that by putting a song on the Watford Observer website, her fanbase will grow.

<b>In Another Life</b> <p> Cave Canem are a young band from Rickmansworth School. Playing mostly covers of Feeder songs after forming in 2004, the fourpiece has moved on since then and are now looking to get a demo recorded. Cave Canem are playing at Batchworth Sea Scout Hall, Rickmansworth on January 27 2007 and then at Watersmeet on February 23 at a benefit concert in aid of the Peace Hospice.

<b>All The Colours</b> <p> Levi Francis is a Watford-based karate teacher and singer-songwriter. All The Colours is a song Levi wrote two years ago which he hopes will be taken up by the Let's Kick Racism Out of Football campaign. The reggae-tinged tune remains true to Levi's Jamaican routes.

<b>Old Street</b> <p> Hailing from Hertfordshire and North London, Dear Acetate are driven by energetic guitars and influenced by the rock, punk and indie sounds of today and yesteryear. Old Street is a story about the exploitation of excess that comes to a regretful conclusion. Dear Acetate are playing at Baraka on Wednesday, November 8.

<b>You Will Not Be Alone (Live)</b> <p> Lost Without Cause are a threepiece band from Watford who play a range of music from slow acoustic rock numbers to high speed punky tunes. The band recently raised £1200 for the Teenage Cancer Trust by hosting a charity gig in St Albans. Lost Without Cause are playing live in The Flag on Sunday, November 26.

<b>Euston, Midnight, Baby</b> <p> Led by Watford's infamous human beatboxer Roberto Capellina, Rockets are a band with a range of eclectic influences from Faithless to Fleetwood Mac that are impossible to pigeonhole.
