Phillip Henry and Hannah Martin pluck the best bits of English folk music, Indian classical and American blues to create a sound that is completely captivating. Using slide guitars, fiddle, banjo, vocals, and even beatbox harmonica, their debut album, Singing The Bones has gained much praise. This first-class duo comes to the Pump House on Friday, March 1.

What a difference a few months makes. Not so long ago Sound Advice cast its ear over Watford band Telstar’s debut EP – Who Are Telstar? and were much impressed. Now, after a busy term on the live circuit and in the studio, the four-piece return with the answer, their second EP – We Are Telstar.
