Combining all the best tracks from the previous three albums, this two-disc set is largely an all-round six-string people-pleaser.

Crammed full of legendary guitar hooks, the 36 classics were all recorded pre early '80s so you'll find none of the preeny power ballads which seem to litter the market these days.

In timely fashion, the first two tracks are Warren Zevon's Werewolves of London and Lynyrd Skynyrd's Sweet Home Alabama - two tracks sampled in Kid Rock's current hit All Summer Long.

And you don't need a review to tell you what some of the old faves still sound like: Layla by Derek and the Dominos, Black Magic Woman by Fleetwood Mac and Brothers in Arms by Dire Straits.
