Halle Berry has returned to filming her new movie, less than 48 hours after suffering a head injury.

The Oscar-winner was rushed to Cedars-Sinai medical centre after suffering a "minor head injury" during the shooting of her new movie, The Hive, in Los Angeles on Tuesday night but was back on set on Thursday.

Halle's spokesperson assured E! Online that the actress was only taken to the hospital "as a precaution" and that there would be "no production delays".

The 45-year-old even took her four-year-old daughter Nahla to work, and spent time with her in between takes.

Halle, who plays an emergency operator alongside Abigail Breslin, was hurt while shooting a fight sequence for the upcoming thriller. She was later released from hospital after being checked out by doctors.

A representative for the mum-of-one told TMZ.com: "Halle Berry suffered a minor head injury while shooting a fight sequence on the set of her film, The Hive. She was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but she checked out healthy and was released."
