Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were all smiles as they visited a children's hospital in New Zealand - despite rumours that they have split.

The 18-year-old pop star and the former Wizards Of Waverly Place actress were pictured walking hand in hand and smiling as they left the Starship Children's Hospital in Auckland.

"Do something nice for someone else today. U know your truth... do it for the right reasons," he tweeted before the visit.

The Boyfriend singer, who was previously in Australia to promote his new album Believe, is a keen supporter of the hospital, and has encouraged fans to contribute to the charity through his Believe Charity Drive.

Some gossip sites have claimed that Justin and Selena's romance is on the rocks.

But the Canadian heartthrob appeared to address the allegations, writing on Twitter: "There is always someone who is going to say something... make up something. Try to bring u down. Kill 'em with kindness."
