Experience the spectacular birth of Krishna, in Mathura, be magically transported to Vrindavan with music and dance, and witness the Great Battle of Kurukshetra in Krishna the Musical, a colourful production coming to Watford Colosseum.
South Indian ballet dancer and actress Padmashree Shobana is the woman behind the production, which features her daughter Narayani as one of the performers.
Interlacing traditional classical music with Bollywood chartbusters by AR Rahman in both Hindi and Tamil, and musical compositions from Oscar-winner Resul Pookutty, the show also features narratives voiced by famous Indian actors Konkona Sen Sharma, Surya, Shabana Azmi and Padmashree Shobana.
Krishna the Musical is a mixture of dance and drama, transcendsing genres, that will whisk you away to a colourful and enchanting world.
