You may have seen her in one of Lanternfish’s superb pantomimes, now St Albans actress Rebecca Vaughan returns to the The Maltings Arts Centre with Austen’s Women, bringing to life the many beautifully observed women and heroines from Jane Austen’s novels.
Directed by Guy Masterson, the one-woman show features memorable characters such as Lizzy Bennet, Emma Woodhouse, Anne Elliott, the Dashwood sisters and many more, as they fall in and out of love, make friends and alienate others, commit notorious improprieties and learn important life lessons.
The show comes to The Maltings Arts Theatre, St Albans on Thursday, November 19 at 8pm. Tickets: 01727 844222
