Fantasia to open Vaughan Williams anniversary concert at Bushey Hall School

Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis by Vaughan Williams will be among the popular classics on offer at Bushey Symphony Orchestra's next concert at Bushey Hall School on Saturday, April 26.

The concert is an anniversary tribute to the composer (1872-1958) and will also feature his popular work for violin and orchestra The Lark Ascending.

The programme also includes Mozart's Violin Concerto No 4, Finzi's Three Soliloquies from Love's Labours Lost and Haydn's Symphony No 83 in G minor, The Hen.

George Vass is the conductor, with Tamsin Waley-Cohen on violin.

The concert starts at 7.45pm at Bushey Hall School, London Road, Bushey.
