SALLY forth to St Albans this weekend for a concert by The Salvation Army's Sale Band.
The Sale Band from Cheshire is promising an evening for everyone, whatever your age or musical taste, including classical works and pieces from the musicals, as well as fun numbers.
The 29 musicians range in age from teenagers to E flat tuba player Bob Harrison, now in his 80th year. The concert will also feature the soprano Joanne James, a modern languages teacher whose husband, father and brother are all members of the band.

The evening concert is being held at Dagnall Street Baptist Church, St Albans on Saturday at 7pm.
The Sale Band will also be taking part in Sunday services at The Salvation Army Hall in Victoria Street, St Albans this Sunday at 10.30am and 4.30pm.
Tickets for the Saturday concert are £5 and can be purchased in advance by calling 01727 864254 or 854554.
