FLOWER power comes to The Radlett Centre as Radlett Light Opera Society presents a production of Patience set in the late 1960s.
The plot of this Gilbert and Sullivan light opera satirised the flowing locks of the poets of the aesthetic movement and their adoring fans and, with a few minor changes to the script, Gilbert's original concept has been transplanted into the era of long-haired singer-songwriters, flower power and psychedelic fashion.
RLOS presents Patience by Gilbert and Sullivan at The Radlett Centre, Aldenham Road, Radlett from Tuesday, May 13 to Saturday, May 17 at 7.45pm with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
