POPPING, locking and freestyle has taken over The Colosseum this weekend.
Enthusiastic dancers have been competing for the UK Hip Hop Crew Championships title - a ticket to the World Championships in Las Vegas.
The room has shaken with base and attitude as crews of dancers, both youths and adults, showed off their style in front of five judges including BBC One Extra DJ Sarah Love and former UK Hip Hop Champion Lil' Tom.
Those who competed either performed in dance-off style rounds or were marked on two minute choreographed pieces.
The event was launched four years by dance school Hip Hop iDance to give hip hop dancers a better chance of getting to the World Championships.
The competition will carry on until late tonight.
See Friday's paper for results and pictures.
