Rickmansworth High Street to get new flags (From Watford Observer)

New flags for Rickmansworth High Street

In a year where the union flag has been a proud feature of so many notable events both locally and nationally, Rickmansworth High Street has benefitted from a new set.

The flags are in celebration of the 2012 festival, which has included the Rickmansworth Week Parade, the Diamond Jubilee, the Olympic Games and the Paralympic Games.

They were bought by Rickmansworth Chamber of Commerce which applied for a £500 grant from the county council’s localities budget.
