Woman arrested at Audentior Awards ceremony is fined

A woman arrested at an awards ceremony celebrating the best of Watford has been fined.

Victoria Sibley, 40, appeared at St Albans magistrates’ court on Thursday charged with assaulting a police constable. She was arrested at the Watford Colosseum during the Audentior Awards ceremony on October 5.

Sibley, from Waterside in Kings Langley, was fined £73 for the assault and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Surely there's a good story behind this or do people normally go to all the trouble of attending an event like this so that they can assault a PC?

After all it's much easier to accomplish this in the Town Centre any night of the week

Did this woman have the hump about something to do with the event?
