Police have cordoned off part of Cassiobury Park after being called due to concerns for the welfare of a man.

Part of the park has been taped off close to the Rickmansworth Road entrance, with a tree taped off inside the initial cordon.

Police cars, a fire engine and an ambulance are at the scene.

Hertfordshire Constabulary have since released a statement saying: "Police received a report at 2.35pm today of concerns for the welfare of a man in Cassiobury Park.

"Officers attended immediately and are currently still dealing with the situation. At this stage we cannot comment any further."
