Man found dead in Best Western White House Hotel is named

The man found dead in a Watford hotel room has been named as Wayne Whittred from Suffolk.

The 34-year-old, from Skeaping Close, in Newmarket, was found by police at the Best Western White House Hotel, in Upton Road, on Saturday October 13. He was already dead by the time officers arrived.

Hertfordshire Constabulary is treating his death as unexplained and an inquest has been opened into the case.

A hearing will take place later this year to determine the cause of death.
