Seven-year-old boy goes missing in Bushey

A seven-year-old boy who went missing in Bushey yesterday evening has been found.

Police were spotted frantically searching Sparrows Herne and School Lane in a bid to find the child.

Harry, owner of newsagents Jessica’s mini supermarket in Sparrows Herne, said officers came into his shop asking if he had seen the missing boy.

He said: "There were lots of police about, we were all worried about the missing kid."

Dan Phillips, police representative, said: "Police received a report at 4pm concerning the whereabouts of a 7-year-old boy in Bushey.

"Officers were dispatched immediately and the boy was discovered a short time afterwards."
