Top tips for jobseekers at South Oxhey Job and Business Fair

South Oxhey jobseekers can get help finding work and tips on writing a great CV and covering letter at an event tomorrow (Saturday).
The South Oxhey Job and Business Fair takes place between 1pm and 4pm in The Centre in Gosforth Lane.
At least 10 potential employers have already signed up to the event, which is being organised by Three Rivers District Councillor Ty Harris.
He said: "The key focus is to create opportunities and I believe people who want to work need to be active and constantly put themselves into situations which can deliver the desired outcome."
One of the companies attending will be Thrive Homes. Philip Day, the firm’s resources director, said: "We are ambitious for this community and will do all we can to support residents so they achieve their goals and fulfil their potential.
"There will be many opportunities on the day for those keen to take the next step and we are glad to be involved and further develop our links within the community."

I was happy with the event and I believe the people who attended will achieve. I am in the process of contacting those who did attend and I hope to support them the best I can. I hope to hold another one in the new year, so I hope it will be even more successful for people. Everyone will be welcome.
