Deadline looms for proxy vote applications for Police and Crime Commissioner elections

Time is running out for residents hoping to use a proxy vote to have their say in the forthcoming Police and Crime Commissioner elections.

The deadline for proxy vote applications is 5pm on Wednesday, November 7.

Proxy votes allow voters to nominate someone else to cast their vote in their place if they are unable to get down to the polling station on the day.

The vote for Hertfordshire first police commissioner is due to be held on November 15 between 7am and 10pm.
