Man found hanging in Cassiobury Park named

A hanging man, discovered by teenage schoolgirls in Cassiobury Park, has been named as Watford man Viktor Zalevskyy.


Mr Zalevskyy, of Wilmington Close, was found suspended from a tree on Wednesday October 24.

Lower sixth form students from Watford Grammar School for Girls saw the 31-year-old while walking back from a PE lesson in the park, at 2.30pm.

Police are not treating the death as suspicious and an inquest was opened and adjourned on October 31.
