Radlett residents in for a fright as care home is transformed for Halloween
Visitors to a Radlett care home were in for a fright yesterday, as staff and residents dressed up as ghouls, goblins and witches to mark Halloween.
Signs warned guests to enter the premises in Harper Lane only if they dared, as spookily-dressed staff entertained residents with a series of games including "Guess Who’s Under The Sheet" and "Pass The Pumpkin".
A raffle was also held, with prizes including £30 Marks and Spencer’s vouchers up -for-grabs. Money raised from the raffle will go towards the care home’s next social event.
Debby O’Hare, care home manager, said: "Today has been a lot of fun, both for staff and residents.
"It gives the residents something different to do and allows staff to spend more quality time with them."
