Rudolf Steiner School pupils raise £8,000 for Hospice of St Francis
9:10am Friday 2nd November 2012 in News
Pupils from a school in Kings Langley have raised £8,000 for the Hospice of St Francis after taking part in a sponsored memory walk.
This is the most the Rudolf Steiner School, in Langley Hill, has ever raised in their annual walk, where the whole school took part, with longer or shorter distances walked depending on whether they were in the nursery years or year 13.
The school takes part in the memory walk every year and many walk in memory of their much loved teacher, Heather Thomas, who was cared for by the Hospice and passed away in April 2008.
