Bovingdon & District Horticultural Society held a charity games evening to keep with this year’s 2012 Olympic Games theme.

Around 100 residents enjoyed a two course supper and six rounds of tough quiz questions and games at the Memorial Hall in High Street, Bovingdon last week.

The event also raised over £700 towards the local hospice and the Horticultural Society are inviting residents along to Bovingdon Green next Saturday November, 17 from 10am to help them cut back and tidy the village ready for winter.
